But where did Satan story begin? Where did he come from? And how did he become the prince of darkness? If the devil had a birth place surely it was here, somewhere in the book known to Christians as the Old Testament. In the oldest books of the Bible a character called Satan does appear but he’s nothing like the Satan we imagine.
