The story begins as he is transported to a federal prison in the South and weaves throughout the life and journey of a man while he is imprisoned and assessed by a team of medical experts questioning the crime he committed and its true purpose. The story unfolds around sexual and emotional abuse by trusted family friends, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, a life threatening illness and finally, on the strength of unconditional love and understanding.
