Digital Book Nook recently caught up with A.M. Holmes, author of the best-selling book, “The Ultimate Fitness Blueprint for Men.” We are excited to share this insightful interview with our readers today.
When did you first discover that you enjoy writing and wanted to become a published author?
I have been interested in writing since my teenage years, I always thought I would one day have something to share with the world, and I believe that time is now.
What is your favorite and the most challenging aspect of writing?
My favorite aspect of writing is that it can give a voice to the otherwise voiceless. There are too many who have no mouth but must scream. The most challenging aspect is always being able to turn thoughts into compelling ideas.

Tell us about your latest release.
My latest release is a fairly standard fitness book for men with a slant. As I spent six years as a semi-pro mixed martial arts fighter, the book focuses on that world and what it takes to get there. I have a unique perspective on fitness and how to apply mind, body, and spirit. Consciousness creates all things so putting your mind to things truly has power.
How did you come up with the title of your book?
I came up with the title through exhaustive research on what would speak to people looking for the information I was writing about. I had a different title set, but I really would have worked best for a fiction book.
What do you hope readers are able to get from reading your story?
I hope people can find a method or two in the book to add to their routine and maximize their physical potential. I hope they find it’s an entertaining way to improve their health holistically. in dramatic fashion.
Who are some of your favorite authors?
I have kind of strange taste in authors, but at least eclectic. I like Chuck Palahniuk, Blake Crouch, Poe, and the master Steven King. I also enjoy the published works of Steven Hawking.
Do you have any advice for writers looking to get published?
My advice to writers is to live an examined life and be fearless.
