Book Review: Carrying Water and Carrying Loss: Tony Stevens’ The Water Girls

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5 Stars)Venice has been written about endlessly, but The Water Girls finds something rare in its canals. Instead of gondoliers and nobles, Tony Stevens turns his attention to the women who carried the city’s water, and in doing so, he gives voice to a world on the edge of disappearance. In this book you’re about to discover how to deal with difficult people!

We try coping with difficult people and we also try managing difficult people. We try working with difficult people and some days it works out while on other days it doesn’t work out.

One thing we sometimes don’t remember is that no matter how difficult people can be that they are still people. Something is causing them to be difficult and sometimes those reasons are pretty simple and sometimes they are so powerful we want to reach out to them.

Understanding difficult people is only a part of the equation. Though we want to sympathize, or run them over with a truck, we still have our own lives to manage and get through. Which is why my book is here to tell you how to deal with difficult people.

Difficult People – How to Deal with A-holes at Work, at Home, and at Life! by Malcolm Rockwood is available at Amazon.com.
