“As a mother of a twelve-year-old experiencing this life change, I gave my daughter all the advice and information that my mother passed onto me; however, I was unprepared to explain to my daughter about her transition into womanhood without the sexual elements. I needed help. I sought out books that explained puberty and changes in the body, but there was not enough advice on how to deal with this new body upgrade. I also found that my daughter was distracted when it came to reading those books. So, I created a fun, interactive book called My Secret Pocket with puzzles and crafts as well as a custom-designed pouch called My Secret Pocket, a private spot to carry her feminine products. “ –T.D.
